Sets requirements for wiring methods and electrical components in general use, including cabinets, boxes, and fittings, switches and panelboards, flexible cords and cables, and temporary wiring. Unused openings in boxes must be closed, pull and junction boxes must have covers, and conductors entering boxes must be protected from abrasion.
